A Trip to Mountains for Web's Baptism

The kids at the luncheon. Where are you going McRea? It was so hard to get all the kids to sit at the same time.

Web was too cute.

McRea is so cute in her long pink dress.

The boys playing in the grass at the luncheon honoring Web.

Ford dressed up in his Sunday outfit.

Ford enjoyed the park, but it sure was hot on Saturday.

Whitney and sweet McRea. I think someone look like their mommy.

The little boys loved to play with their cars.

This is one of my favoirte pictures from the weekend. It is a picture of Ford and Andrew with their cars.

Ford and his Daddy.

The little boys playing peek-a-boo behind the door.

We went up to the mountains for the weekend for Web's Baptism. It was so much fun spending time with my college friends and their families. It was the first time that I got to meet baby Web. He is such a sweet baby that always has a smile on his face. I did not hear him cry all weekend. We stayed in a super nice mountain house with Leslie, Jeff and their son Andrew and Whitney, Jay and their daughter McRea. Andrew and Ford are the same age and McRea is only a few months younger than the boys. The kids played so well together with hardly any fighting over toys. We took the kids to the park twice, played cars in the house, played on the deck with bubbles, and tried to give them a bath together. Ford did not like the idea of bathing with other kids. He cried and cried and cried to get out. Ford had a hard time eating all weekend. Thanks to Leslie and Whitney had drank his sippy cups of milk. Web's Baptism was on Sunday. He did an excellent job at the church even wanting to get in the bowl of water and smiling the whole time. The luncheon after the Baptism was perfect because the weather was so nice (70's) and the food was yummy. The children enjoyed running around on the big green grass in front of the clubhouse the best. It was such a fun weekend. I can't wait to see everybody again. Sorry that the pictures are mostly of the kids.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day... Daddy!!

We celebrated father's day by going out to lunch at Daddy's favorite restaurant, Phat Burrito. It was very yummy. We also went to the pool to cool off. It has been so hot the last couple of days. I got my two boys matching outfits for father's day. I think they look so cute.

Ford getting a little help from his girlfriend, Carissa. This is my favorite picture.

We enjoyed a nice little get together with Robinson Family and Galibrath Family. It is always so much fun to watch the kids interact. It has been in 90's the past couple of days, so we had to have water activities for the kids. The baby pool and new squirter toy was a hit with the kids. We also ate some yummy food too. It was really nice to catch up with friends that I don't get to see on a daily basis anymore (all former Montclaire Teachers). What a fun night!!

Do you like the pool Ford? Yes or No

Ford on our first visit to the pool in the morning.

I am not getting up from my chair.

Ford was invited to a pool party on Saturday morning. He was so scared of the water and would only sit and watch the other children play. He cried if you tried to move him from his chair. Finally when Daddy got to the party, he got enough nerve to walk around the baby splash pool. He would not touch the water. We took him home for his afternoon nap. He was so tired that he almost fell asleep in Daddy's arm when he was walking up the stairs. Later that day, we took him back to the pool and he loved it. He loved getting wet with the splashing water at the baby pool. I guess he was so tired this morning that he didn't have the energy to get in the pool. Yeah, I was worried he wasn't going to enjoy the pool all summer.

Columbia Zoo

We went to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia. We had such a great time even though our little buddy only took a 45 minute nap on the way down to the zoo. He usually naps for at least 1 1/2 hours everyday. He was a little bit cranky at first, but after about 30 minutes he was better. He enjoyed riding in the stroller the best instead the backpack. The zoo is exciting for children and adults. We got to see so many different types of animals. It was memorial day weekend, so the zoo was extra crowded. It was fun to people watch too. It look like it was going to rain the whole day, but we only got a short rain shower for about ten minutes. Luckily, we were under a hut when it started to rain, so we didn't get wet at all. Ford enjoyed waving to all the animals. He even told the bears and fish hi by saying "Hey Bear" and "Hey Fish."
