We went to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia. We had such a great time even though our little buddy only took a 45 minute nap on the way down to the zoo. He usually naps for at least 1 1/2 hours everyday. He was a little bit cranky at first, but after about 30 minutes he was better. He enjoyed riding in the stroller the best instead the backpack. The zoo is exciting for children and adults. We got to see so many different types of animals. It was memorial day weekend, so the zoo was extra crowded. It was fun to people watch too. It look like it was going to rain the whole day, but we only got a short rain shower for about ten minutes. Luckily, we were under a hut when it started to rain, so we didn't get wet at all. Ford enjoyed waving to all the animals. He even told the bears and fish hi by saying "Hey Bear" and "Hey Fish."
We love the riverbanks zoo too....Glad to see that Ford had such a fun time with Mommy and Daddy...He is so cute playing with the Lizards....Did you guys take him to feed the birds cups of nectar...fun!!! Happy Memorial Day tomorrow~
